An object pierced the windscreen of the ambulance near the village of Morton on Lugg near Hereford shortly after 8am as it rushed to an emergency call today killing the passenger and injuring the driver. Police are investigating the cause of the incident and officers are appealing from information from anyone who witnessed the incident.

Looks like someone throw a rock at the windshield and the velocity of the vehicles movement made the impact more powerful.
