Laying here in the dark deciding if I want to get up and wondering what I’ll get into today. I guess that’s a perk of full retirement. Ollie will be whimpering soon to be let out of his crate to go outside and have his morning constitutional anyway.

I hate to crate him,but if I don’t he just wonders around the house all night and gets into stuff. He’s going on 11 months old and he’s still a chewer.
I seek righteousness, as should we all. But I will take revenge.

We keep ours crated at night and have since she was 10 weeks old, she's now about year and a half. We mainly did it for potty training and so she doesn't molest our 17 year old kitty wanting to play with her.

Yeah ,he crate’s well and potty training was our main purpose too. He’s pretty automatic,as soon as the wife and I start turning lights off for the night,he goes right in and lays down. I don’t think I could get too much older and want to train another puppy. It’s exhausting at first, but worth it.

Yep, they get used to it quick. We also put her in there if we are going to the store or anywhere we won't be gone long. Just say..."get in the crate" and she walks right in.

Boy you are right about a lot of work. Ours was pretty stubborn about potty training and a couple of times I got really mad about it and yelled NO! to her a few times while pointing her face towards it, usually pee. Then I felt bad about it because she walked off with her head and tail down. But it worked and she's been really good since.

She has really been pals with our cat and will not doubt miss her when she is finally gone. She panics when she can't find her now and scours the house looking for her sometimes. So we aren't sure if we will get another animal to keep her company or not.
