Just 5:30 Sunday evening. Fed K'head...will eat some breaded chicken breast after it defrosts and out of the fryer. Sultry day. Everyone's off at the Woodford Folk Festival...3 hrs north...doing the setups. Got the place to myself. Watching Rick Stein eating all over Greece. I'm gaining weight watching the show!

Was having breakfast ... suddenly Squeaky decides he wants to fly ... first flew onto his cage ... hasn't done that in months ... then from there, he decided to fly up onto the countertop!!!
Of course once up there, he explored for 5 mins, then wanted to get down ... finally flew down to the top of his cage and then to the floor.
WTF??!! He hasn't had the desire to fly to the counters in a very long time. He's also "flying" in the kitchen and outside ... clearly he has been working on his control, and he is getting better height with each attempt.
But it makes me happy that he's discovering the ability to fly. I hope he continues!
