I am laughing at the moment. I asked Yahya how his solar panel hookup was coming...and...did he take my advice and cultivate some NY moxie.....too funny...here's what he said:

Yes I was able to get better prices using moxie personality especially for the battery. I acted to be a rich person and not very interested in the product but I tried by all means to be very friendly towards them.

Finally found the two 30 degree 3" exhaust elbows I need to complete the exhaust chest build. There's a company in Brisbane that JUST cleared a container with all sorts of pipes and fittings that came in from the manufacturer in Perth by rail. I had critical residential mufflers made up by them and they said they'd "fish two out and get them to me straight away...and, pay us when you get them". Good to spend the time of day with the tradies and show them some respect.

Raining...spring is in the air. Found the second snoike in three days. One was a red belly black...the other...a python. Ironic. Pythons feed on this not-too-dangerous poisonous species.

JUST got my absentee ballot in to Arizona. Republican, everywhere and...I said NO to keep the Superior Court Judges in office. I could NOT find their political affiliations...so...all twelve got the axe.

Got anther email from Gambia. I'm getting a two burner cooktop to them by way of Terangas...and two or three frozen chickens.

Mum has to cook out in the yard's fire pit...all weather. Yahya has to find the firewood. He found a gas bottle...paying heed to the mandatory valve replacement date on the canister. He'll need to fill it...a 12.5 kg bottle.

I already got them kitchen utensils a while ago...pots, pans, dishes, cups, glasses, utensils.

It'll be the FIRST time they are able to cook inside. I also explained that gas bottles "screw in and out opposite to every other appliance" and it was important to keep the stove and bottle out in their covered front porch. Mum will love this.......

He's now got DC lighting for their FIRST night in their two room hovel thanks to the panel and battery. He'll really get into his school books and the book a week from their library. I just asked him to look for, "Up From Slavery" by Booker T Washington.
