I'm in Manteo; the sound is so full of water it's over-washing everything. South of Rodanthe is a mess-
I want lefties to have all the abortions they can. Let them wipe themselves OUT; fine with me.
The reality is Americans are sick of the Left's insanity and elected an outsider to the White House accordingly. Now, you keep on parroting all that fake news Leftist propaganda BS and see where it gets you in 2020.

@Ginger. are you back home yet girl? Looks like you didn't get pounded as badly as expected. This is good seeing as it took several years to recover from the past two. How's it going down there?

Okay..i see it hit ocracoke pretty badly.

I've been back home a few days. My house is fine. I'm glad I left, if I hadn't I'd have lost my car to flooding.

This isn't severe...i'm rather enjoying it. Snow...since before 10 this morning. Accumulation is now about 2 inches fluffy and still coming down hard. Kids are in school. I'm sorta surprised at that. Funny...just late last week it was sweater weather. Now we're going into winter again.

Lol. I used to spend my summertime camping on Chincoteague and Assateague islands. The horses are there because of a shipwreck.

The wild pony roundup is neat to see.

    The fishing is great also.

In the shenandoah valley of Virginia WHERE Did this WIND COME FROM?? It's AWFUL. It near ran me off the road, It broke my planters, my outdoor cushions are in the side yard and heading to my neighbor's across the road!! MY snl's siding is coming off the house just a little but still...it's gotta be fixed. This is supposed to go on to 5pm at least. I had to leave my christmas wreaths up again this spring cause the birds got into them before i could change them. One nest with week olds and one nest on another door with little blue eggs..late starters. Wind knocked down the wreath with the young in them. Thank goodness i was there to see it. Picked them up quickly and put them back in the nest and put the wreath back up on the wall. THEN, i wedged a ladder into the front of the wreath so that it would not be blown off the wall again. poor little naked things. I hope they're okay.

we had snow flurries this am. at 44 degrees. that wind is still strong but not as strong as yesterday starting at noon. Slowed a little in early evening and then picks up again..all night. Colder today than earlier this week.

Baby birds seem okay. Even with the ladder in front of the wreath between my garage doors, the mama bird is climbing in with them. it's cold out there and they're nearly naked.
