Matthew 22:36-40 What is the greatest commandment?
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Review the long list of accomplishments of Trump while in office. Accomplishments unequaled by any other president, and for the benefit of all Americans regardless of gender, or race. The economy, employment, prices of all goods and services, a rebuilt Military, National pride, respect from our adversaries, energy independence, a sense of security, Truth rather than lies and dishonesty, and all of this and more under the most vile and malignant attempts to destroy him and remove him from government. You know all of this yourself.
DeSantis should be supporting Trump.
@CWF
Many of those are true, but they were temporary, every single item you listed was reversed immediately upon Biden walking into the white house. As I wrote, the only lasting impact from Trump was the 3 SCOTUS appointments, and while thats not trivial, Trump did nothing to change the course of the nation. Trump was just a delay in the democrats/communists advance.
It seems you are suggesting I vote for Trump because he will repeat his first term - delay the democrats/communists another 4 years? If there is no other alternative, thats a reason to vote for Trump. But there is an alternative.

Why should I vote for Trump and not DeSantis? I'll give you some real reasons to vote for DeSantis and not Trump.
1) Trump repeatedly appointed his enemies to key positions. Before he was even sworn in he selected Reince Priebus (the most slimy RINO establishment person in DC) as Chief of Staff. He has given no indication he recognizes his failure in selecting critical people, and no indication he has learned his lesson and will not repeat that mistake.
1a) DeSantis appointed conservatives who would support a conservative agenda, and fired people (including dismissing a woke Soros AG) who were not on board.
2) Trump allowed Fauci to control the covid response and ruined the nation. Trump still thinks the vax is a good thing and has not admitted it is flawed.
2a) DeSantis, in May 2020, saw the data and recognized the pandemic was a scam. He ended the Florida lockdown, opened schools, and let people decide for themselves about masks. When it was clear the vax was not a vaccine and was even harmful, DeSantis made it illegal for employers to require employees get the vax. DeSantis took a lot of crap over his rejection of the scam, crap from everyone including Trumps CDC. Trump never backed DeSantis (or the few other governors who rejected the scam).
3) Trump was elected to stop illegal immigration, and his big plan was to build a wall. In the 2017 budget talks, Trump demanded the wall be funded but then traded it away so a continuing resolution could be passed with the promise from Mitch that the wall would be funded in the next budget. It wasn't. The wall was never built (not enough to matter), nothing was done to actually stop illegal immigration.
3a) DeSantis pushed and enacted legislation in Florida that STOPS illegal immigration into Florida, funds law enforcement to find and deport illegals, bans state ID being issued to non-citizens, does not recognize out of state ID, blocks illegals from getting benefits such as medicaid, and classifies people who bring illegals into Florida as engaging in felony human trafficking. Illegals are already leaving Florida.
3 reasons to vote for DeSantis and not Trump. Any rational response?
