Those damn Birds are gonna start "Chirping" in that Tree

Behind my house is abuncha trees and birds like "nest" there ..

    Nothing against the Birds..

Just when I'm trying to "Sleep" in they all start Chirping & carrying on about 5/6 o'clock the morning..

I used to be like those "Freaking" Birds ..

Nowadays I realize that "GOD" gave those BIRDS a "Song" in their Hearts & Souls and they Chirp it out very "Early" every morning because that's "Their Way"..

Instead of thought of Chainsaws or the time when I was a child built a nest in our gutters & my Dad took a garden rake pulled the nest and smashed the babies heads because he was nursing a Hangover and my Mom was Angry with my Dad..

These days to "Me" I appreciate them Chirping at 6 Am and as a "Plus" they beak all the "Bugs" outta my Gutters that's their "Protein"..

I say "Thank Ya" Lord that ya gave em a "Song" in their little hearts..

I've also "prayed" like to "know" their TUNE
    ..

I "understand" this doesn't make any "sense" 2 most folks ...

I was about in 3rd/4th grade when my Dad pulled that nest to the ground and smashed the chicks heads because he was hungover & trying to sleep..

I knew then that wasn't right but I couldn't speak up at that point he could still beat my @$$ back then so I cried "silently"

The first time I shot a little bird with my .22. I was 11 years old. I felt so bad I cried like a baby. Their one job is to bring joy into this world. I couldn't imagine the world without birds and their song. One of my faves is the woodthrush.
