The drama is making people unhinged and they don't even realize they've been emotionally radicalized. The truth is always somewhere in the middle. I don't think there's a global conspiracy so much as rich powerful political people have created their own bubble and they're too far afield of common sense. They've convince themselves their values are noble when in fact they're crooks trying to defend a fiefdom.

The religious right was a key factor in the losses in the mids; as soon as RvW was o/t some states went directly to abortion ban legislation. That only confirmed the left's fears and self-righteousness. The problem with any extreme is the one issue voter/politician. Single issue people become militants and militants are bad for representative democracy and the Constitution.

Imho, the state GOP's aren't cleaning up elections enough and the D states are entrenching their cheating machine. IDK how to fix that.

Well I have a number one issue first and foremost and that is the 2nd Amendment absolutism. My second and third absolutism is free speech and laissez faire economics. I don't care how much I might agree with a politician if he/she is anti-gun they don't get my vote.

The West which is about 30 countries, will become the "new" "third world as it were" while the 160 countries that make up the rest of the world will become prosperous and maybe somewhat free in the not to distance future. Folks The West is dead and done. Now some countries that make up The West like Japan might escape the velocity of destruction but most are too far gone to escape the velocity of the toilet flush.

That's because they have bought the lies told by the communists that the Nazis were not socialists. The essential distinction is that communism is full-bore in terms of economic seizure by the State, and communism pretends to internationalism (i.e., the proletariat of all countries, whereever situated, were viewed as the proper subjects of communist affection)whereas Nazis, as socialists, were committed to an economic half-way house where private property was still permitted to exist, but at the sufferance of the government and subject to command and control by the government, and they were also nationalists, with an order of preference between people based on their ethnic origins (this wasn't just jew vs. non-jew, they had a whole hierarchy of more and less worthy ethnicities).

But, at bottom, they are all socialists, committed to comprehensive control of the economy by the government and the subjection of private property to the whims of the State.

As far as demise goes I'm far more worried about our geo-political foes than I am the sides here in domestic America. Let's just say I'm far enough from DC where if China wipes it off the face of the Earth I'll be fine....but I will be affected. Been thinking a lot about storing food and water recently.
