Conservatives relate to and believe in the principles the founding fathers had in mind when creating this nation with the declaration of independence, the constitution and bill of rights.

I'll admit: When I was younger I had trouble with defining "liberal".

I suppose it all relates to how it's used in context and in what company you're keeping. Here - I don't think there's any confusion about what "conservative" means.

I've abandoned Party; which was inevitable. I'm an Independent and for the Constitution. Since I won't vote for a democrat on the state or federal level, I'm a wait-and-see on everyone. If I'm not happy with the R candidate, I'll leave it blank (Thom Tillis is a no in '26) on the state or governor level, but I'll be supporting the R presidential candidate regardless. I don't like Gov Cooper but we don't have the worst dem governor; he can't afford to offend what's essentially a red state voting base. It restrains him.

Show me a Republican President or any President for that matter who has held rallies that had 10,000 or more people attend, who camped out all day to get inside? What they found in President Trump is he can communicate on their level; he knows this government was going into tyranny and that's why he decided to run. So, for you to call all those Joe and Jill sixpacks as being cultish or belong to a cult is is insulting. fine you don't like Blaa blaa blaa. But don't put down the people that find him inspiring. And this is something we haven't had since Ronald Reagan. And after having to suffer thought Bush JR. a big disappointment and eight miserable years of Obama. Well, you get my drift. Since when do we elect people on popularity? Are we a direct democracy now? There are a lot of leaders throughout history who have lead big movements and who have spurred huge rallies along their way to power. I would caution making that the definitive factor for support. A few of them didn't leave good impacts on history.

The problem is that's an absolute. Trump has a lot of competitors in the GOP. Some are better. Some are worse.

Not voting for Trump isn't anymore voting for a Democrat than paying taxes means you support the government.

My issue is it's not Trump against the Democrats. There are a lot of people against the Democrats. Trump is a temporary figure in time. Trump is 76 and I am 34. I'll be fighting the left long after he's in the ground. I can't make him the King of the right wing in my mind because he's only here for a little bit. It has to go on after.

I'm all for a strong man but there comes a point where it needs to be a strong movement instead.

There's a reason why the left keeps taking over. They beat us at everything. Our entire culture has changed. Our entire way of life has changed. We are not marching but sprinting to communism. It's because of this nonsense. We have abandoned our ability to lead and have prioritized our ability to follow. As yourselves who the sheeple really are.

That's right, he can be an ass & nobody wants to vote or have anything to do with an ass. You need to get to know everyone you deal with because you don't want to: Buy a burger from an ass, get a car loan from an ass, have a phone company that hires asses, or marry someone who has an ass in their family. But you didn't list all of the negatives. I'll list more:

Reasons to not vote for Trump:

1. He's a Yankee, southers should never vote for a northerner.
2. He's hair is thinning. Nobody with hair should vote for someone with less hair.
3. He's from the east coast, anyone from west of there shouldn't vote for him.
4. He's rich, never vote for someone with more money than you have.
5. Never vote for someone taller or shorter than you because they can't look you directly in the eyes.
6. When attacked, he actually fights back. That's against the bible.
7. And that phrase, Make America Great Again, how disgusting. To want your country to be better. That's like spitting on other countries.

I could keep going on & on but you get the point. Don't vote for Trump unless he meets every single standard that is important to you. Surely a solid democrat like Hillary, Old joe or even Kamila comes closer to your standards. Vote for them or basically just any democrat, the main thing is not to vote for Trump because he doesn't meet your standards.
