    Au Gratin and/or Scalloped potatoes

I'm not sure there's really any difference in the two.

The main thing is I think there's a food version of crack put in there by the manufacturer, because there's lot's of extra work too as compared to just baking a potato and slathering butter and sour cream on it, gotta boil the water, add butter and milk, mix it with the spuds (dont forget the crack packet)(seasoning), then put in a pre heated oven.

THEN, always be left wanting more, wishing you'd made more, and being a bit bummed they're all gone.

Yep, that's a conspiracy that needs looked into.

Cheese, butter, and a special packet can make the cardboard box it came it taste good! Add some bacon bits out of a pouch and you are in survival mode!

Oh man, I'd never thought of adding bacon bits to the mix but I'll bet that'd be like freebasing at that point and before long I'd be selling myself on the street to get money for my next box, most likely end up in recovery programs trying to learn to live again without anymore scalloped potatoes ever.

It would be rough at first, I'd have to find a support group maybe....

All I know is scalloped potatoes are supposed to sliced and fried on stove top in bacon grease, and served up with eggs, bacon and rye toast - for a survival mode breakfast.

After exhaustive research I have found the basic difference is Au Gratin have a lot of cheese between the layers and scalloped just has the creamy sauce.

    Either way…yummy

Those little pouches of real bacon bits are my secret egg and cheese sandwich fixin's. Sprinkle bacon bits on a fried egg while it is cooking, add cheese, and slap it all on buttered toast. Fast and easy breakfast sandwich, and no stop necessary at BK or McDs.

Oh, and add them bacon bits to a grilled cheese sandwich too! Yummy!
