Gave up coffee maybe two years ago. Best thing I ever did. The last thing you want with a compromised aorta...is blood pressure that does not let the aorta, "rebound". Exercise is great...when you are puffed...you have high BP for a while. After a few minutes...it eases back to normal. Caffeine doesn't let it ease back to normal...and..."normal" becomes a distended aorta.

I'm up for my "yearly everything" tomorrow. Yep... pretty nervous about it, too. But...my BP's been all in the green...127/78-63 being my median. Dumping caffeine really was necessary.....
Eh! What else can I say???

If it's MARIAGE FRERES brand, nevermind. Looks like great tea. But not on my retirement income.

I put 2 teabags In My mug, pour boiling water, leave for exactly 4 minutes to brew…. Add skimmed milk. No sugar.

I like my tea so strong you can stand a spoon upright in it.

i get that. blood pressure. tension. caffeine is a great stimulant. helps with depression. i like it. but it does tend to constrict blood vessels.
