Holy cow, last night, Chris Rock said this about Will Smith - and this is a direct quote:

Could be 2 clever men.

One of whom (Chris Rock) has based his career on talking women who fuck over men. He's not the only one talking shit about how wives and the courts fuck over men/husbands etc.

Set up a big physical assault live on camera at the awards a while ago. Rock now comes out and says it was all about Smiths wife boinking their sons friend.

Could be setting a very clever stage for an upcoming divorce case - and - settlement.

I've heard some snippets of his act, today, and it was jaw-dropping funny and ten out of ten for standup comedy/societal satire.

I actually very much liked his routine.......and comments about NOT being a victim.


The only part that bothered me were the comments about Will's wife. As a man I would never say such things about another man's wife if she did me no harm. Surely he could deal with Will in a manner that doesnt attack the wife

Pretty sure it's still Hollywood and they don't see things the way us peasants do. Comedy matters very much to me as an remedy for PC. We need it more than ever.

If you eviscerate Hollywood here in the forum (we all do) then why can't Chris do the same? Jada Pinkett is a fine example of exactly what's wrong with Hollywood. Chris broke civility by calling her out after she'd flaunted her affairs publicly and for a years? She demeaned Will, not Chris.

I don't expect social mores in tinsel town align with mine. I'm a spectator in the clowning of Western Civ.
