Reminds me of an article I read a few weeks ago about most likely targets for a nuke were for Putin or Kim to launch one, they were LA, New York, Chicago, Houston, San Fran and I think Portland, American hemmorhoids all, and it made me want to make a post akin to "if a tree falls in a forest".

Read at the link ... I have no idea what the selection criteria was for the original ten. One has been removed, at the request of a church. I wonder how that church feels about the selection to replace it?

If the artist wanted to keep with the theme of the building, and pay tribute to Ms Ginsberg, she should have created a statue that bore some likeness to Ms Ginsberg. This is just some hideous figure that any fantasy cosplay make up artist could come up with. IMO ... just because an artist is woke, that does not make them good.

It does remind me of an old Mad Magazine article refferencing that sort of thing and there was a pic of a southern redneck with a paper in his hand saying something to akin of "New York in ashes from terrorist attack" and the southerner had a big grin on his face and was cracking a smile, it was funny in a dark humor kind of way (my favorite kind) and reminded me of when national lampoon was around and funny.

I watched a documentary about National Lampoon the other day, I think it was called "groundbreaking, funny, dead" and some of the shit they did was roll on the floor funny, I was surprised to see that people like Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray were on the staff, SNL stole them all when it started in '75 which started the downfall of Natl lampoon.

Yes we would and certainly should. Millions of American citizens would die and despite the fact many of those would be Anti American scum they are still Americans and even further, they are human beings.
