While I do not doubt that after the photo, the ship later was loaded with Bradley Fighting vehicles, it looks to me as if it is a Foreign carrier.
Our own Navy is superb at defending American property. It would land at some European port and not in Russia.
Those are low grade vehicles. They are not well armed. They carry light weapons.
However they are better than fighting in the open. Ukraine sure can use more of them.

"The Bradley is a very powerful vehicle that we are providing to the Ukrainians," Army Lt. Col. Rebecca D’Angelo, the 841st Transportation Battalion commander who is overseeing the transport, said on Monday.
"This is going to hopefully enhance their capabilities to provide forward advancement in the battlefield and regain lost grounds, by having equipment that matches or exceeds what the Russians have."
It's outfitted with a 25mm automatic cannon, as well as a 7.62 Coaxial Machine Gun and an anti-tank missile launcher.
Are you suggesting a naval escort to protect the transport ship?
BTW......being against draining our arsenal of weapons and ammo in light of probable conflict in The South China Sea is NOT supportive of Russia's activities in Ukraine.Reports out today our aging naval fleet is finding it increasingly difficult keeping our ships at sea US Warships’ Time at Sea Dwindles on Breakdowns as China Challenge Rises (msn.com)
60 Bradleys....31 New Abrams tanks........90 Stryker combat vehicles....... about 1,700 Humvees....... dozens of mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles, and other armored vehicles........after leaving $80 billion in weapons in Afghanistan IS draining our arsenal while our adversaries are building up...moderninzing.....conspiring. And today Biden is proposing sending Long range missiles to Ukraine.

I was comparing the Bradley to the M-1 Abrams. The tank has a much more powerful cannon and extreme armor and is fast.
Would you protect the Bradleys on the ship were you in charge?
She believes the Bradley is as good as what the Russians have. I can't compare the two. Maybe she is right. A Lt. Col has far more training in this than I have personally. I personally would have moved the M1s in Poland to Ukraine since that is faster by far. 25 mm is just less than one inch. The M1 has a 4.7 inch gun. Aside from the larger diameter projectile, it also contains more potent explosives.
After I studied the Bradley alongside the M-1 Tank in both of the Iraq wars, I saw how the commanders would try to keep the Bradley safer by trailing the M1 Abrams tanks.
To me it is more of the Biden half assed attempts to seem as if he is trying than a real combat ability.
I fired 7.62 Machine guns and am familiar with what they can do. Again, on a armored vehicle, good against infantry but not against armor.
It seems to me the Ukrainians fight more at distance than do the Russians.
We may end up at war with China. But China typically is not an attack first country. Notice it has had dozens of years of this Taiwan stuff and still has not invaded Taiwan.
I am familiar with the Naval strategy where they have a ship of a type in action, one in repairs or updates and another ready for action. At least that is what I believe happens after reading up on this. If you have 3 war ships, only 1 of them is where the enemy is. Of course we are not at war yet with China.
When I say supporting Russia, I mean the words posted are helpful to Russia and not helpful to either Ukraine nor to the USA nor the nations trying to stem the War started by Russia. This crap this is a war we started in 2014 is most helpful to Russians.
Again I will stake out this position for all of us.
1. Those who simply support Russia
2. Those who detest war and on those grounds do not support what we do for Ukraine
3. Those who realize how dangerous Russia is and see this as a way to both stop Russia and do so in the cause of Freedom for a country that was invaded by Russia.
I want no pals who support Russia.
Those in group 2 are fine with me. They are not pulling for Russia nor Ukraine. This to me is a good example of how Americans think and vote.
Those with my view do not support Biden though they support Ukraine in this particular war committed to by Russia. Biden is doing lousy as we see him.
We can't stop Russia by holding back. We tried this in Vietnam too and it did not work.
We won every battle we had in Vietnam. We even had departed peacefully. It took the North in the area of 2 years to later conquer the South but we had been long gone.
We can bail out of Ukraine as well and the Russians will then defeat Ukraine.
Say Ike never invaded Normandy in WW2. We would not have beat Hitler. Had we not supplied weapons and later men, the war with Hitler would have been lost. Is this what posters expect this time too by holding out weapons that can put an end to Russia's invasion?
By the way, we beat Hitler by hitting his homeland. Not by bombing France.
