It makes sense if they want to shut down conservative speech. 22 liberal networks many with far worse ratings are still there.

It's not real-time news. It's reruns of recent opinion shows.

Xfinity keeps promising they will get here ... eventually.

We are so remote that we had to live with overhead HughesNet Sattelite Internet and Sat based TV for years. We switched to DirecTV when the phone company finally offered DSL and all we needed from Sat was TV.
Our telophony based Internet is so weak that streaming TV is marginal.

They surveyed for Fiber, but even if they run it along the road, that is still the better part of a mile from the house.

Not many options out here in the sticks.

We have DTV for our television, and we have both HughsNet and Starlink for Internet. Mrs Dinosaur is on Verizon Wireless for phone and tablet, and since Verizon shut off my old phone, I am moving to T Mobile for phone and a hotspot.

Starlink is awesome for internet. Fast fast fast and as reliable or better than HughsNet. HughsNet is slower than sloth speed. We will be dropping HughsNet soon, once we are certain Starlink continues to be reliable. We use the Verizon internet during storms when the satellites lose connection. Can't use Verizon for much internet or we blow our data limit and they slow you down to sloth speed.

We don't have any land line phone. We may be required to get a land line phone if we ever get in the new house. It will have an elevator, that requires a hard line phone by code. Doing some research, we believe there is a dedicated satellite or cell phone option allowed, the rules are changing. A land line would give us DSL capability, but we won't go that route with the other options available.

    Yeah, no cell coverage here.

I will have to look into Starlink, thanks!

Hughes Net, the Satellite Internet. It comes with built-in Wi-Fi as well. (Call - 1-844-871-8696)
