What is wrong with Congress....

The list of what is wrong with Congress is far too long and far too complicated for me to post here. But here's one answer.


"In the first we asked simply: “In general, do you believe that elected officials in Washington represent MOSTLY the views and values of … ” with the choices being “their constituents,” “Big Donors,” or “not sure.”

"The answer was overwhelming and doesn’t bode well for official Washington. Two-thirds (66%) said elected officials represent mostly the views and values of their big donors, not average Americans. Just 16% said they felt their elected officials represented their constituents. Another 18% said they weren’t sure."

While a lot of issues that the constituents want but don't see are not federal issues, although the feds want control over everything, they influence the local governments in many, but not all, states. For example voter ID is supported by most Americans as is school choice.


"In our earlier December poll, (here and here), voters made their priorities pretty clear. They wanted Congress to focus on the budget and debt, immigration and the border, taxes, energy and abortion, in that order."


Clearly, the Democrat government and the establishment Republicans have been going against what the people want. On debt was just get more, and more, with fraud and pork rampant, the border just gets millions more illegals welcomed by Joe Biden and Congress does nothing, energy issues get worse with more and more bullshit over climate change, and on abortion the feds continue to whip up the far last while most Americans want a solution what will not please either small minority of nuts on the extremes.


Changing Washington is unlikely and will take years but taking back some of the power they've seized from the states and from individuals is possible.

Choice? Sounds like freedom. Congress is in charge of your freedom so, ranked choice voting is all that you get. Enjoy your freedom of Congress choosing for you lowly plebes.

I think that the congress represents my goals very well. I can't think of another, more important goal, then to become famously rich without producing anything of value to anyone.

Actually, I believe that the mid-term election showed that the most important issue to democrats and some republicans is abortion on demand. Molech is pleased.

Nothing is wrong with Congress. The problem is the voters and to an extent the vote counters. As Will Rogers said 90 or so years ago. We have the finest Congress money can buy. I can see see electing Biden once, but 8 times!!!. Or McCain either one

In 1977 Gary Gilmore was executed by firing squad, the first person on death row executed in a decade. The peeps were freaking out because the Supreme Court ruled that implementing the death penalty should be left up to the individual states.

Nearly 50 years later the Supreme Court issued a similar ruling on abortion and the peeps went ballistic all over again.

What most people don't realize is that in the intervening years between the two rulings the Supreme Court almost without fail has ruled in favor of national laws superseding those of the states. In other words death and birth are up to the individual states, other than that your ass belongs to the feds.

Congress can and should fix that problem even though it means whittling their own power down to a nub.

Nonsense. Congress passing a 4000 page law that no one has read would indicate a problem with Congress and not the voters. When Congress passed a 2000 page law no one had read called Obamacare and bragged that 10,000 pages of regulations supporting the law no one had read had already been written indicated a problem with Congress and the existence of the Deep State.

Affordable Care Act was signed into law March of 2010. How many of those Congress people have been re-elected? And are still being re-elected. If you elect and re-elect thugs, guess what, they will do what thugs do. You of all people should be aware of that.

When a congress cannot even control our borders they are rather worthless. At this time Mexico controls who comes into this nation and that makes the US look weak and laughable.
