Pope Benedict Warns of coming 'global humanistic dictatorship'

Note from Trinnity. Benedict was already trying to warn the world about Frances...threads combined.

    Benedict XVI Speaks Out

    https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/...c-dictatorship

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI accuses his opponents of seeking to silence him while he also warns against a future humanist dictatorship that may control the world. In an authorized biography by German author Peter Seewald, Benedict says in Benedict XVI – A Life that accusations that he has interfered in the current pontificate are based in a "malignant distortion of reality."

Someone tell us again WHY he stepped aside.
It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence never to practice either of them. Mark Twain

There are different theories. Probably Benedict's health was indeed a factor, like they all claimed, but there probably was another reason.
(Remember that John Paul stayed in the office even after he got feeble and kind of senile)

Probably one the big reasons could have been that the Vatican saw the Church being torn apart along ideological lines - there's a "conservative" and "progressive" wing of the Catholic Church. They want to try to avoid a division, so they felt pressure to have a leader who was more progressive (though still not too far progressive and somewhere in the middle).
The factions of the Catholic Church who are progressive in the U.S. and Western Europe (specifically Germany, France, Italy) are extremely progressive, almost on the Left. This may not be the majority of Catholics in the world by numbers, but these are the traditional core Catholic areas in wealthier countries and exert a disproportionate influence, both by convention, culture, and money.

Maybe Pope Benedict is the Judas Priest?
