If you went into an ECON textbook of twenty years ago, or a dictionary before the editors went Woke...you'd find the true meaning of inflation.

INFLATING THE SUPPLY OF A NATION'S CURRENCY.

If you understand that, you fully understand why prices are exploding in general. You also understand that stopping inflation won't drop OIL prices - something ELSE is making THEM go up.

You'd understand that the higher costs of American manufacture are not inflation. They're higher costs. That's it. They have to be passed to the consumer, because that's how markets work.

Anytime your dollar buys less it's inflation whether it's due to monetary inflation or price inflation.

The third...I don't know how far along they are; and I don't know how a slim-majority House is going to change laws or regulations already in place.

That makes me more scared than if they were doing it in the open.

When the fact checking denial machine goes into Turbo/Nitros/Supercharged mode, something is afoot.
