Will the orcs make a stand at the "neck" of the Crimean peninsula? The Soviets did in 1942 and the Wehrmacht did in 1944. Neither defense held, but it is a decently defensible position. If the Ukrainians break that position, it is a horse race to the Kerch Strait bridge. The Tsar may have to nuke that bridge he is so proud of.

What's left of the Black Sea Fleet will have to bug out for Novorossysk. Loss of the strait will prevent running for Rostov-on-Don.

Russia will fight to the death to keep Crimea. Russia... regardless of who is in charge will fight. It was the first thing Putin reclaimed after Obama orchestrated a regime change in 2013/2014 in Ukraine. The generals, the oligarchs, every man on the street who is proud to be a Russian knows that access to Crimean ports is essential for Russia. Twenty four hours after Yanukovych was forced to flee Obama's coup, little green men had to reclaim Crimea since Putin's successful negotiations and diplomacy with Ukraine's leader was destroyed by Obama.

On the LSM and coordination...

I have worked on, and even run big complex projects/organizations on tight timelines, and it is very difficult to keep multiple teams (analogy to propaganda outlets) on the same page and coordinated. This usually took an 07:30am everyday stand up meeting where all team leads reported status and problems, and any priority changes or surprises from above were conveyed.

The LSM move like a flock of birds or a school of fish, nearly seamlessly and without missing a beat.
There HAS to be an underlying coordination mechanism, and most likely organization.
But how the hell have they kept it out of the public eye this long?!?!?!?!?
No secret that big stays in the dark. Somebody breaks, turns, brags, there is always a leak.
