Wonder why they were forced to retreat, They could have stayed and fought it out till the last man.
I also wonder why anyone would allow a retreat without a follow up assault unless they were also at a level of strength that would have meant defeat for them.
Hard to determine the object of some modern tactics in war these days, seems it turns on what color of nail polish the commanders wife uses that day.
