    Of Course the Saudis

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman negotiated a prisoner release. Impressive. The Prince speaks impeccable English.

The right guy at the right moment. "What's in it for me?" Fossil Fuels. I can see how he can leverage the market. Maybe he can help find a settlement to the war.

It started in 1979 with the Iranian revolution, soon after was the marine barracks in Beiruit, the first time they "took it up a notch" and used a suicide bomber in a truck, after that was various hijackings and questionable downing of airplanes like Lockerbie Scotland, and then they had take it up a notch again on 9/11 (EDIT) knowing the passengers would be expecting a negotiation and eventual release as had always been the case leading up to that

(hint) NEVER negotiate with terrorists, kill them, kill them all. Which we dont do, we hand out water bottles, and "rules of engagement, with embedded lawyers ready to take a witness statemnet from "the traumitized locals" who had thier door busted down by Marines.

Yes, those were Saudi's, please dont go there, they were probably all shia sympathyzers, Sadaam held everyone in check on his side of the fence, he even allowed Christians to worship, he made that happen in his "harsh" arab way, but all worldwide terrorism stems from the shia side of things and Tehran in particular, so I side with the saudis and the Sunnis.

While murdering on average more than 30,000 of his own people annually.

Yah, Saddam was one hell of a guy.

The only way for a lasting peace in Iraq is the rule of a brutal dictator. Iraq was a construct of the British as their empire imploded, it never existed as a country prior because of ethnic and religious factional disputes.

If you want peace there, break it up in 3 to 5 independent republics that are self governing including a Kurdish Republic, otherwise there will never be a lasting peace.

He should. Very early in his childhood he studied world cultures and languages with a heavy emphasis on English so as to avoid embarrassing boo boos at state functions and to prepare himself to succeed his father.

    Not triggered, simply stating facts.

Iraq is ungovernable as it exists except by a brutal dictator because of how the Brit's put it together. Their only interest was the interests of British Petroleum. They made the same mistake throughout the ME.
