In 1936, it is doubtful whether Charles would have been allowed to be king (because of divorcing Diana and marrying Camilla).

Easily proven/disproven with modern DNA technology, although it might be difficult to get DNA from the King or his Queen Consort. What happens to the line of succession if he were in fact their love child? William and Harry both out in the cold?
