Nevada law requires CCW permits for dangerous knives only when the person is wearing them in a concealed manner.

Some crazy comments. No one there knows Nevada law though.
Nevada doesn’t have a castle doctrine. You legally can’t harm a home invader if they don’t threaten you. Nevada CCW instructor and Metro cop told me that home invader can make a sandwich, drink your beer and grab the TV and walk out, and you still can’t harm them.

Says here that Nevada is a stand your ground state. Castle doctrine in effect as well:

In a final twist to self-defense law in Nevada, there is one exception where deadly force may be used to defend property. It is called the Castle Doctrine, under which it is acceptable to use deadly force in your home if you reasonably believe the intruder is attempting to commit a felony. So if someone breaks into your home to steal a TV and not harm you, but you feel threatened, deadly force may be acceptable.

Obviously you haven’t had much dealing with the police, or criminal court attendance.
You cannot touch a home invader unless you or a family member is physically harmed, or threatened in a way of impending harm. The law is quite clear, even I know the rules of engagement….. so good luck to you!
