The Bureaucracy’s Democrat Majority Made America a One-Party Government

Yes folks, this right here is a major problem for us. Why should these people have a JOB FOR LIFE and be represented by some UNION. they VOTE against the best interest of us REGULAR Joe and Jill six pack. President Trump was working to try to do something about this, so they came up with all kinds of lies and sick conspiracy's against him with the help of these lowlifes with their cushy Guberment lifetime jobs. I have heard there is something like over 2 MILLION now employed in these governments states and especially the Federal.

Six out of ten federal employees supported Biden.

When former President Trump, Gov. DeSantis, and Senator Ted Cruz, among others, endorsed rolling back the power of bureaucrats and their administrative state, Democrats panicked.

Senator Dianne Feinstein and Hillary's former running mate, Senator Tim Kaine, introduced a countermeasure which they called, "Preventing a Patronage System Act" according to Kaine, to "protect the merit-based hiring system for our federal workforce".

Media editorialists claimed that making it easier to get rid of federal employees would bring back patronage or the spoils system. The problem is that patronage never left.

We have spent generations living under a permanent patronage system. The spoils system, as bad as it was, kept one party from permanently packing its supporters into the government. Removing it just meant that the Democrats have permanently packed the federal bureaucracy.

When politicians set themselves above the law; when Governors command by fiat rather than by Constitution; when bureaucrats imagine that they posses legislative power... ...then true Constitutional and Divine Obedience demands “defiance” and “civil disobedience”.

There is no draining of the swamp possible.

    It's a pipe dream.

The whole thing is a mess because we have allowed it to be so. Both "major parties" are more like gangs with one finally beating the other to the bottom of the political barrel during COVID. At least I hope this is the bottom, but probably not.
It's all broken. What phase of the federal government functions efficiently? What level stays out of states business with their control of the money and unfunded mandates
How can K Street and pay to play be so damned open and have so much influence?
I've seen what Big Tobacco did. Regulation is clearly required. However even that regulation is coopted, controlling and above all for sale: The food industry get government to promote the "death pyramid" and much more. The Alphabet soup agencies are as corrupt as career politics. Hell industry writes the bills!!!
The CDC lied to us and essentially admitted some of that.
Government over stepped more than at any time in our lifetime ( which is saying something) and refuses to let go, looking at everything from a non fatal gay plauge to over hyped climate change as an excuse to continue their control
They are apparently willing to tank the economy for votes, which hopefully backfires.
Dissenters from Donald Trump to Sweden are met with scorched earth media attacks.
We have "party TV" Like we used to blast Russia for!
Even the Military is not what it once was and is used to interfere rather than to defend.
    Diplomacy has fallen off.
Probably half of the federal government is unconstitutional, especially from a Textualist perspective. Yet they exert controlwithin the states for human services, drug law, arts endowments, pork of all kinds. All of which is clearly not their job!

No aspect of the federal government does what it is supposed to do in anything resembling a fair, bipartisan, efficient manner.

The adage "Government sucks at everything" is true.

But term limits , a minimum qualification list for appointees , taking a bulldozer to K Street and campaign spending limits could help.

It's generational. It didn't happen in 4 years, and it can't be undone in 4 years. Having the same president for 12 years just about killed us. Every agency added since has just bloated the beast.

We will have to take it apart bit by bit, and it won't be easy. No simple solution. Having the right party in power, with the right leaders, can make a big difference. When Congress makes laws 1000's of pages long, and flips it all over the fence to the bureaucrats in the Executive to flesh out, the correct use of Executive power would stop the fleshing out. I liked the Trump policy of ending two regulations for every new regulation. Make them do their homework and weed out what is not working.

And I figure getting rid of about half those executive agencies would be a good thing.

And a story ... We had a VP where I worked, who decided that our management team was stuck in methods that were holding us back. So what did he do about it? He set up an office with empty cubicles and stuffed them all in there with nothing to do. Yep, we called it Jurassic Park. Their only job was to find a job, a real job where they could apply and use their knowledge and skills to benefit the company. A few did. The others all quit or retired. It was a tough call to pay a bunch of highly paid managers to do nothing all day, but the VP gambled that paying them to do nothing was better for the company than paying them to do harm. That VP took his division from losing money to the top revenue division in less than 4 years. I know it can be done. I lived it.

    MAGA!

If Trump is re-elected, he should start by eliminating 60% of the Federal Agencies.

That sounds like a low figure.

We can re-employ the unemployed Federal workers to processing and executing deportation of all the illegals Biden allowed in.
