S&W caved to Clinton when they didn’t have to. Still got the stupid locks on the revolvers. Nope, don’t give a shit, will never support those bastards.

Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.

Wish I had kept my model 29. Not interested in any new Smiths.

Smiths I currently own.
586-3
686-4
19-9. Has the Hillary hole but is every bit as good as my older ones, with a much stronger and tighter lock up.
19-carry comp. Same as above.
617-6. same as above.
M&P 45 full size
M&P 40 Pro long slide
M&P VTAC 40
M&P Shield 9
I was not happy when they folded to the Clintons and hate the lock. But they are a solid innovative weapons manufacturer that make great products. I’m happy to see them fighting back, others need to do the same. If not we lose, I think S&W gets that.

Nice to see they regrew a tiny set of balls.
I do love S&W exposed hammer DA revolvers. They can take all of that plastic pistol and AR shit and kiss off, there are better vendors.
But Colt revolvers are just weird, and Ruger has some funk in their policy closet too (threatening to revoke the health insurance of employees that rode motorcycles...), although I do like some of their SA offerings.
I have owned a Taurus, but that is not buying American, they make good and well priced products.

If the right deal came along I would certainly consider buying one used but no I've never owned any of the M&P handguns.
I do own an M&P AR that was a gift.
Handgun wise I own primarily Tarus Revlovers and Springfield XD and XDM's, along with Sig and a highly customized Delta Elite 10mm with basically every Ed Brown Chip McCormik upgrade available.
I shoot the XD's/XDM's in Service Pistol/CC and Bug gun classes and the DE in open class events.
Hmmmm.
Probably confused the Springfield with the S&W.
The Delta Elite sounds sweet.
I recently took my absolute favorite (hits everything I aim at) semi auto pistol (a CCW 45) and shot it next to an old S&W 357 midsize frame wheelgun at 20yds. DAMN! I had lost the bubble on how accurate I am with wheelguns! Making me rethink everything.

My four inch 5 Shot Tuarus revolvers are insanely accurate. I can consistently hit center mass on a standard human silhouette with them at ranges nobody believes unless they see me do it.
Some guns are inherently accurate and definitely more inherently accurate than others.
