OK, the last two days have been brutal. Who or what do I blame all this on?? (No, it ain't Democrats)
Car battery is shorting out. It charges fine, but rapidly drains itself without being connected.
Cell phone battery went to 0% overnight. That never happens. Fully charged yesterday.
Security light malfunction, it comes on and goes off with nothing moving all night long, stays off during the day, motion sensor stuck?
LED flashlight failed with full battery, had to perform reset procedure.
Game cameras failed to take video, only still pictures.
Computer shut down on its own. Fine on reboot. (I have power settings set to never turn off.)
I'll replace the car battery tomorrow. I'll check the phone to see if it is draining more rapidly than usual. I have a spare security light I can install. We have a surge protector in our electrical panel, and a 50 amp in line surge protector for the trailer power too. It still shows all indicator LEDs protecting properly. Phone was not plugged in, and car battery of course was not connected to anything, same with flashlight. All other electronics in the house working properly.
Any guesses or opinions? We did have thunderstorms move thru the last two nights and did lose power twice yesterday.
