    I used Balistol for general cleaning, Cherry Balmz for lubricating friction points (especially on my ARs and AKs) and the occasional sonic cleaning.

    Sometimes I'll use a military grade a CLP.

    The OP said cheap. The very first gun oil ever is still just fine, olive oil. Step it up to a very high burn oil, avocado oil. Then the most used oil on the cheap is Mobil 1 synthetic.

    M-Pro 7
    CLP
    Balistol…yeah it smells funny, but it works.

    Do you guys know that in WWI when the Germans developed Ballistol that German soldiers would put Ballistol on their salads. The American Ballistol is not eatable. It's a slightly different formula.
