The questions to ask are:
A. Does the vaccine lessen the actual symptoms, if one catches Covid?
--This of course, means that we need to compare those numbers to the unvaccinated, because:
B. Has the disease "evolved" into a less deadly form? (I think so. Omicron seems to be highly contagious, but, apparently no where near as deadly..???)
--The "evolution" of this virus needs deep study above and beyond it's effects on health (which, is of course our primary concern...). IF, in a scant two years, this virus "evolved" into something more contagious, but, less deadly...that is fast and, effective. (Highly contagious, but, doesn't kill the host, so that it can re-infect at a later time. Just like the common cold, albeit still a bit more deadly...)
C. An honest, and prolonged study of any and all side-effects from the vaccine or boosters.
The biggest obstacle to those questions is the massive mounds of $$$$ made by the pharmaceutical companies. While I applaud the fast and effective development of the vaccines, we can not allow the open-ended profit opportunities to cloud real....SCIENCE, for whatever that word even means in our society, these days...

I have not seen a study that demonstrates lessened severity of disease. They have been saying this since nov/dec of 2020, when there was no study to demonstrate that claim.
