From BREAKING: Supreme Court Issues Landmark Ruling Expanding Gun Rights PJ Media :

So this ruling is about barriers to law-abiding citizens exercising their 2A rights. IOW, the exorbitant permit fees DUmmies envisioned would be struck down if attempted. Thomas' comment similarly suggests that the City of San Jose's ordinance requiring gun owners to have liability insurance, https://sanjose.legistar.com/View.as...E-8ADE914F4BD2 , will likely be struck down.
California also went after companies offering "self defense insurance" on the premise the users would be profiting from their crimes.

Kind of handy to demand you carry liability coverage and deny it at the same time.

Neither will we. Some of us have been fighting this fight since the seventies when they first started to outlaw handguns completely.

Let's try this in a different way.
You know of the biblical scripture ... "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and to God that which is God's!"?

Well, our inalienable Right's are God Given and cannot be negated by man.
    No not even the SCOTUS!

The point is .. as long as the SCOTUS rules within the confines of the Constitution, no problem.

It is when they rule outside of the Constitution we have a problem!

The Constitution and the Bill of Right's are limitations on the government .. not a limitation on the people!

Last time I looked, SCOTUS was a part of the government!

Hell, they themselves made a ruling that addressed this and it should apply to them as well ..

In Marbury v. Madison the Supreme Court announced for the first time the principle that a court may declare an act of Congress void if it is inconsistent with the Constitution.

"All laws that are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void."
    Marbury v. Madison

    Make sense now?
Our Right's are God given and I don't need permission from politicians to exercise them!

So as far as I am concerned, the only correct ruling by any court should be .. "Any and all gun laws are unconstitutional!"

Thanks for reaching into the DU cesspool, where I no longer even look, for fear of being tracked, and pulling out a shitty diamond.

    No, he is perfectly correct.
