New York officials prepare for worst as Supreme Court gun ruling looms

Actually, I think NYC is in good shape on this one. The no bail/ no detain problem is about to be solved, permanently. And the prosecutors who don't like to prosecute won't have to worry about the backlash of people who want them to prosecute. NYC will join Chicago in just letting all the bad guys kill off all the other bad guys.

As far as "illegal" guns go, I think NYC has an advantage there also. I read and hear that fewer people actually own cars in NYC, due to the availability of public transit. Here in Florida, we have Florida Man, and Tourist Man, who all like to carry weapons, but usually just leave them in unlocked cars, where bad guys find them. NYC might be lucky that fewer stupid citizens own cars. Cars, it's cars. America has a car problem, especially an unlocked car problem.

Oh, I just love how NY is preparing for the ruling. Not by figuring out how they are going to process and issue 19,223,191 new concealed carry permits, but instead, by figuring out all the legal loopholes in the court ruling that will allow them to further continue restricting the issue of as many permits as they can avoid.

I hope the Supremes rule that any restriction on carry is a infringement, and that all carry, nationwide, is as free and legal as the Constitution intended, a right of the people that shall not be infringed upon by criminals who claim to be politicians. Let's see the political criminals in NY get around that one.

Fact: In gun free states/cities/towns, the ONLY people with guns are the criminals.

These prog strongholds will do whatever they can to prevent law abiding citizens from possessing a gun, but do absolutely nothing to keep criminals from having them.
