Members of the House of Representatives can now order alcoholic beverages for delivery directly to their offices from 8 am to 4 pm.

House members received notification from the House Chief Administrative Officer announcing two new perks offered this week compliments of the chamber’s Democrat leadership: fully paid gym memberships and “House Drinks storefront” a brand new liquor and drinks outlet in the Rayburn House Office Building.

Where I worked we had a policy that said you came to work sober and did not drink till you went off duty for the shift. One of our employees went to lunch with a group from finance and they got plastered. Our employee was reprimanded and she appealed on the grounds that the finance department employees could drink at lunch. I immediately promised her a transfer which she rejected.


The City Manager heard about this and said he would make it a rule for the city government. No drinking during your duty shift. I said, "That's a great idea, John, but it means you and the City Council can't take your 45 minute break during the council meetings at the bar next door."


"You're right. A city-wide rule wouldn't be good, would it?"

You just don't drink or drug at work. Everyone knows that. Well I thought everyone knew that. I have seen bosses bring in a case after the workday was done, but even that is questionable due to the drunk driving issues

I know it's easy to claim there's been a lot of fraud on the part of the "Democrats" in our past elections-- and there very well could have been-- but let's not get carried away and say that nobody legitimately voted for them. That amounts to "cope posting" and makes our side look like it's not based in reality.

Whether people want to admit it or not, people can and do vote for leftists. And they will continue to do so. So it's our job to convince them not to, though that seems to be too tall of an order considering how successful the controlled media is at manipulating the public's emotions (Trump, COVID, Ukraine, etc.).
