yes, looks like were in the closing stage now. Ive read various reports including reports of russian conscripts shooting themselves in the foot to get invalided out (whic ofc happens in most wars).
If the Ukrainians can drive a wedge down to the land bridge at Kherson, the russians to the west will be cut off.

Just as many do in Europe many of us old timers call it The Ukraine, because that was what it was always referred to before they broke away from the Soviet bloc. It’s not meant as a slight just old habits, in the mid-eighties while stationed in Berlin I remember the briefing really well…there was a nuclear meltdown in THE UKRAINE!

But don't pretend to care a whit about Ukrainian soveriegnty while simultaneously referring to it as the Ukraine.

Currently they dont have the means to do this, what they need is a couple of Tomahawk Cruise Missiles. Range 800 miles, but ship fired, so the US woudl have to lend them a cruiser.
The other possibility is an aircraft launched Tomahawk, but again you need something a bit more sophisticated than the Ukrainians have

well its six of one and half a dozen of the other. NATO set a trap and the lunatic Putin walked right into it. The only innocent people here are the Ukrainians. Nato promised years ago not to expand in the old soviet bloc countries , but it deliberately did, which was the same as putting nukes on Cuba to the russians. Putin has a delusion he can recreate the old USSR. Also Putin isnt part of the Great Reset, so they would have come for him at some stage. And EU membership inevitably leads to NATO membership.
So im on the side of the innocent Ukrainians being killed by Russians committing war crimes. Otherwise, it doesnt matter who wins, sane sensible reasonable innocent people are going to lose.
