The wife and I watched quite a bit of the reborn USFL this week. And there is a lot to like
1) One player booted from the league for disrespecting staff.
2) Average salary $4,500.00 a game
3) A Pittsburg Mauler Lineman named Boggie openly made fun of NFL types who can even squirt their own drinks in their own mouths,
4) Much coaching, little yelling
5) One thing these guys can do that the NFL claims they cannot? They have figured out how to NOT lead with there heads!
6) There are real kickoffs again
7) A three point PAT
8) Although we didn't see it used a sandlot double pass behind the line of scrimage is legal
9) Definite anti-pre-madonna territory.
10) Tickets are $10.00 with kids free!

My stepfather watches sports all day & night. I generally sit with him for a little of it. And I have to say that the commercials played on the football games came right out of the liberal handbook for how to deliver the liberal agenda. They sicken me. The worst now is the how would you feel if you didn't fit into society. My answer: Well I'd feel like hiding if I was in a country ILLEGALLY!

I really enjoyed arena football. Fast and furious. And all in so close to the action. It was great while it lasted.

I guess there are still indoor leagues and teams, but much diminished from early days. It was something I could watch locally, like hockey, in our local arena. That is what made it fun. A night out. Not a TV thing or once a season affordability thing.

The NFL has gone Woke alright but they have their hands around the neck of the golden goose in many other ways. Mostly by being entitled wine asses making too much money and even having their own entourages.
You could see the excitement in some of the interviews with the USFL group vs the scripted basics and then off too the charter jet interviews of NFL

I don't mind the USFL so far. I like and prefer the NFL more, but it's been nice to have some football in the spring.
