In the 2011 PBA Tournament of Champions, Tom Daugherty rolled a 100 game, the lowest ever score in a televised PBA event.
Nonplussed by his mediocrity that day, he famously high fived the crowd and told the world that he had earned $500 a pin, netting $50,000.
He later eliminated both Pete Weber and Walter Ray Williams - bowling legends - in their final matches during the 2021 Scorpion Championship. (but that is another thread).

This was 2011, but the black faces in the audience are noticeable.

At $500 a pin I wouldn't sweat it either, all I got back in my bowling days was maybe a little trophy at the end of the season.
