The main difference between Angles and Saxons is that Angles are Germanic people, originally inhabitants of Schleswig-Holstein, who settled in Mercia, Northumbria, and East Anglia while Saxons are a Germanic tribe from central and northern Germany that conquered and settled in southern England

The obvious question is why England is called England and not Seauxland?

A century of war with the Vikings had led to a strong alliance between Wessex and Mercia which meant that instead of "Angles" and "Saxons" they were increasingly referring to themselves as Anglicarum or Angelcynn, as one common people faced with an external and definitely foreign threat in the Danes
    RIP Wes.

ERGO they are scared to death of the thought of personal responsibility, personal identity and required self sufficiency.
As we defined the meaning of being an AMERICAN in the USA fighting to maintain the freedom to choose every aspect of our lives C.A.C. got a dose of reality and the fact that we are vehemently opposed to being controlled by ANYONE, especially a person who has the values that a C.A.C. does.
But are we? really? Opposed to being controlled? Think about it , how could a people dead set against control have allowed themselves to be polarized into becoming the most easily controlled we have been in my lifetime
