I asked myself why Ukraine? Well first of all it's big. Very big. Ukraine has a border with Hungary. Poland, Slovakia, Moldavia, Belarus, and damn there's one more....oh. Slovakia. Way to be up close to a lot of western Europe. Too close.

The Chinese want this. It cuts off electronic and high-tech sales to Russia from the US. Which means they will get them from...gee. Guess where.
The Chinese also want to see us waste more of our money, bring our inevitable dollar collapse closer. Because the Chinese think the world will accept THEIR money as the world's reserve currency.
Finally, they want to see civil war explode here. That's why they took their oatmeal-head puppet and made him force-Jab half the nation. They WANT this.

There's a base in Yelnia Russia. It's 370 km west of Moscow near the border of Belarus. Go North and Russia can enter Belarus, go south and Russia can enter Ukraine. Russia is building up the troops there or near there. Not sure if the base is there or nearby.

Yelnya Barracks - Analysing Maxar's image - Rochan ConsultingYelnya barracks have been expanded in the last two years. Although this was something visible on commercial imagery in 2020, the area was a low priority one for commercial providers. Only now can we see that the barracks were completed. The military base hosts three units: A tank regiment, an engineer-sapper and an anti-tank battalions. The barracks are unlikely to be at full capacity. We know that the 59th Tank Regiment is undermanned. The other two subunits are possibly too.
