My chickens will dig that out. I'd have to put chicken wire around it. My problem is problems in the soil; nematodes, moles, voles, and various unknown problems. Any advice? Anyone? I need to figure this out and fix it BEFORE Spring.

    Cool potato method...

I have a small garden in wire and can use the wheat straw in there for the weeds. But what about the bugs and rodents?

I don't think those problems would be any greater than if you buried them.Except for the chickens.I'm going to do an experimental patch.Maybe 10 x15 or so. I'll use Red potatoes and Russets they are my favorites.
