I don't know much about Bob Dole. Heard the name over the decades, and from what I've read from some of the members here, of whom I trust their instincts and opinions - is that he was alright. A basically good and decent man.

For some reason I always get him a little confused with Mondale, the guy that Ronnie Raygun squashed in '84.
DuckDuckGo is a leftist, Soros sponsored and financial contributor to the collective left. They are the proverbial wolf in sheeps clothing. They present themselves as an option away from the corrupt Google, when in fact...they are only a contrived option that really just gives money, and takes money from our ideological enemies. Qwant appears to be an option. Spread the word.

He was a pragmatist. He saw problems and took them as they were...not as some political construct. He knew the Great Depression and WW2, intimately...WHICH...is the problem with recent arrivals to planet Earth. They just don't understand "The Iron Curtain" and MAD...and The Carter Years.

    BTW: it's spelled "R-E-A-G-A-N".

Injured war vet to boot. Kind of out on the proggie side of the GOP.

Mondale was a loon from Minnesota.

He was a decorated Hero from WWII and a truly decent and moral man. A good example of what on old school, "Conservative Democrat" looked like before they were eradicated from the party.

Bob Dole was an honorable man. A little too RINO by today's standards, but he honorably served his nation for a long time.

Also, the last surviving member of Easy Company - 506th Parachute Infantry (aka 'Band of Brothers') passed the same day. Jumped into Normandy green as grass. Got the all-time best war souvenir. When Easy Company occupied Hitler's "Eagle's Nest" this guy liberated a bottle of cognac marked "For Feuhrer's use only" and served it at his son's Bar Mitzvah.
Marxists, Socialists, Democrats, and the legacy media.

They lie all the time. They lie about everything.

They know they are lying. We know they are lying. They know we know they are lying.

They lie anyway. It's what they do.

The republicans have to think a big tent. There are only 2 political parties so you have to appeal to 51% of the electorate and 51% of the electorate are not Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh.

Many of you learned this weekend that Tucker Carlson has been friends with Hunter Biden. There are emails passed that were found on that infamous laptop that shows almost a bromance between the 2. That does not disqualify Tucker from being a spokesman against the ruling class but it is a dent in his armor if he is ever going to report on the president's crackhead son.

There are hardly any real moderates in the democrat party any longer so perhaps the republican party can be a refuge for libertarians moderates and centrists. It should be already with the extreme attitudes dems have on crime and police and race. Don't push them away. Normal people should be fleeing the democrats party make room for them.
