Ion't get why Lee Zeldin would quit Congress to run for NY Gov..

NY is notoriously prone to elect dems no matter how bad they are.

    Both need to go.
Please learn what you are talking about before posting. Also if you are going to use a statistic back it up with a link. Where did you get that 88% number? We all know your ass.

Rob Portman has a career 78.4% rating from American conservative union. When did ever support the dems 88%?

I'm still befuddled at the insistence of so many conservatives or pretend libertarians however you define yourselves who think that shrinking the republican party is a good thing. There are 2 parties that matter. We can complain about that but that is the reality we have. 2 parties so make the republican party smaller? Kick out all the Ben Sasse, Mitt Romney and Rob Portman types so we never win an election in any purple or blue district or state?

    California Democrat Rep. Alan Lowenthal

    (also)

Some Democrat members to watch out for in the upcoming election are Rep. Stephanie Murphy (FL), Rep. Cindy Axne (IA), Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA), and Rep. Elaine Luria (VA).

Murphy, who is still looking into running, could have her district “essentially deleted” if one of the maps proposed in the redistricting is voted on and accepted.

Axne is the lone congressional Democrat left in her state, and Republicans are looking to unseat her in the next election. Recently, her opposition criticized her cozying up to the so-called squad members.

Spanberger and Luria are congressional members of two districts that could be Republican gains in 2022 after the two areas were won handily by Republican Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin last month.

@Trinnity, thanks for posting the information.

Question: How do you find the time to look into all this political dealings and maneuverings? To me it would be much like studying a bucket of maggots in the hopes of finding a gold nugget in the mess.

It is rare indeed that someone runs for office who is determined on serving people rather than themselves. Rarer than gold. And then, if one actually does get elected it seems they all to quickly forget the reason they ran, and adopt the "party line" instead. The goal is to get noticed, and get reelected. Self service in other words.

But, we all need to stay tuned about who and what has power over us. I get that. Yet there is little reason for hope other than to get rid of what we currently have. We had a great replacement in 2016, but now that he is out it seems that the party he was in has little use for him (Trump, of course) and hold the "Trumpsters" in disdain. Politics and prostitutes have much in common.

Just saying. And again, thanks for the info.
