I hope Baldwin gets sued for millions of dollars and goes to jail.

He is a hypocrite, crying about guns and at the same time making millions in his movies glorifying violence with guns.

This is a case where the, "I'm handsome, terribly rich, and too fucking dumb to know what I'm doing when handed a gun", defense may just fly.

On the set the prop master/armorer is tasked with making sure the firearms are the right ones as ordered by the script, that they are in good working order, loaded properly for the scene.

I did some reading the gal in charge of the guns was apparently very new to the job and was very uncomfortable around and abut handling, shooting them.

This may just prove to be one hell of a strange case before it's all over.

I'm sure the script didn't have any scene where you were required to shoot the Director(s)! Go ahead and admit it.

You've demonstrated Demonic guidance for a long time now! Satan takes over when you get angry - they say you were mad! So you, and the Devil in you, decided it was time to throw a tantrum and pull the trigger!

Now one person is dead and another wounded, and instead of manning up and taking responsibility - you're crying and blaming others - you've been that way your entire life! Here's the thing about gun safety - you never, ever, take someones word or assume that the gun is UNLOADED! You check it! Ultimately, you pulled the trigger and you're responsible!

This question will be asked in court.

When one reaches adulthood controlling one's emotions is expected in social gatherings and is mandatory if one wants to escape confinement in a nut house.

Baldwin has a history of behaving like a spoiled brat. He has a record of impulsive uncontrolled rage at anything that contradicts his arrogant sense of self worth. And he gets away with it, time and time again.

Since he was a producer of this film, and its star, He was the Man. And if this director was calling for another take on a scene it may have pissed him off. After all, it was his money being spent.

I don't know what happened. I can only guess. Maybe he pointed the weapon at the director and was intending to shoot a little wide of the target in order to express his disgust at her decisions, and knew full well that the weapon had a hot round in it. Prop guns are real, but they don't have to be accurate, and this one wasn't. Just a guess. Based on Baldwin's history of stupid behavior.

There is no evidence demons or Satan exist so they are myths and fantasy. There is abundant evidence for the reality of assholes, though, and that's Alec Baldwin. Getting arrested for parking space rage? No demons, no Satan, just an entitled, elitist Democrat asshole.

My question is still, why do you need live ammunition on a movie set?

I have heard that it is not uncommon to have real guns on set but it might get uncommon now.

The fact remains, Baldwin pointed a gun at a young woman, pulled the trigger and the woman died and a man was wounded.

Wrongful death at a minimum, negligent homicide at a maximum.

Baldwin is exposed to millions in lawsuits and possible jail time.

It is my sincere hope that this man who has tried to prevent law abiding Americans from owning guns to protect themselves and their families, goes to jail a pauper.

    Better question(s):

#1. Why would a "hot gun" even be on set?
#2. IF a "hot gun" needs to be on set, why not have those specifically separated, in a box or something?

The answer, of course, is that someone on the set did not do their due diligence, and, as such, may be civilly liable, if not criminaly.

I doubt it is Alec Baldwin, as it appears he thought the gun was an UNLOADED, blank, gun....

Which brings question #3, which was the FIRST lesson I was taught around firearms:

#3. Why did Alec Baldwin not treat this, and ALL OTHER potential firearms as if they are loaded with real bullets?

I understand that on many movie sets, you want your characters pointing and firing guns, but....that one, little lesson above--that ALL responsible gun owners, shooters and hunters CONSTANTLY adhere to!!!--should be common policy on all sets.

IT IS THE NUMBER ONE RULE TO HANDLING FIREARMS.....

...that the stupids do not know, or, do not adhere to....
Al Swearengen: What's your partner so mad about all the time?
    Sol Star: He's not mad.
Al Swearengen: He's got a mean way of being happy.

I think they were checking a camera angle for a shooting scene he was about to do.

It was a "dry run," that should have been done without any charges in the gun.

The person(s) responsible for the firearms on set, should have done their jobs.

Baldwin, should know, and practice, the FIRST rule to gun safety.....
