I guess that could screw with your head as an adolescent.

Stop the vaccine mandates. Use facts about constitutional freedoms. The 1905 SCOTUS ruling is obsolete. New technologies can provide for public safety AND protect the constitutional freedoms of those who refuse the vax. Use of easily disproven fearmongering antivax porn will kill our chances to stop the mandates.

I guess that I am glad that I did not grow up in the South. I did go to a Catholic parish, and learned guilt, but I didn't stay Catholic.
    I'd rather walk alone.

    Let em' come...we are Millwall!

Not everyone in the South experiences that "theocracy" - as our forum buddy has described it. It's weird and extreme in some places.

It's just MORE of the same non-falsifiable ploy, again and again...

Christians have guardian angels but if something bad DOES happen to them then it's a "learning experience" or the "fires of life".

God answers prayer but he answers in 3 possible ways - yes, no, or WAIT - but, WAIT, those 3 outcomes are the only possible outcomes even if there were NO God. So once again God cannot be proven wrong because there is an EXCUSE for everything.

Anoint the one who is sick and the prayer of faith will restore him. But when it DOESN'T, then you didn't have enough faith or God just had other plans in his case.

What rational, sensible individual, with a modicum of normal, healthy skepticism, would NOT be suspicious of the claims of such a belief system since it comes with a built-in excuse for everything it asserts which cannot be PROVEN?

"I do not object to the concept of a deity but I'm baffled by the notion of one that takes attendance" (Amy Farrah Fowler)

"Tolerance is the last virtue of a dying society." (Anon.)

The Bible does not teach that each individual has a guardian angel. (and to be a little more definitive)

True, Jesus once said: “See that you do not despise one of these little ones [Christ’s disciples], for I tell you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10) However, rather than implying that each person has a guardian angel, Jesus was simply saying that angels take an active interest in each of his disciples. Hence, true worshippers do not take for-granted, or unwise and careless risks, presuming that God’s angels will protect them.

Does that mean that angels do not help humans? No. (Psalm 91:11) Some feel quite strongly that God has provided them with angelic protection and guidance - though we cannot be dogmatic. However, because angels are invisible, we cannot say to what extent God uses them in helping individuals with various matters. Nevertheless, we cannot go wrong by thanking the Almighty for whatever support he may have provided.—Colossians 3:15; James 1:17, 18.

    An absurd statement. Ridiculous.
    Question for you?
Is there some FORCE out there P, that is drawing YOU to read what I write?
If not, then why do you show up in my threads?
If you don't like what I write, why do you read it?
And if you don't read it, then why do you make absurd comments about it?

I wish Trinnity would make a religion forum
but she'd never make you and the others stay there.
Sounds to me like that YOU think YOU own the forum, P.

Anyone posting nonsense doesn't get taken seriously, JAG.
YOU are NOT the authority on what is, or is not, nonsense.

And just because YOU issue YOUR personal proclamation and
YOUR personal assertion that something is nonsense does NOT
mean, in fact, that it is nonsense. It means no more than YOU
have asserted that it is nonsense.
