I was being sarcastic, the Biden administration has said almost nothing on how we will power all these charging stations. Shutting coal stations certainly isn't the answer.
I agree, let the free market decide. But comparing a relatively small country to the US seems not to be a good comparison. Do we need stations like what was described to you? We don't need leaded gasoline, we just don't. We don't need ethanol either. Ethanol makes no sense as didn't GWB. We use corn to make fuel using oil to make the fertilizer to grow the corn, makes no sense.
So here is an idea, come up with an economical common sense replacement for the gasoline engine and you will make millions. Go.

Straight vegetable oil is an infinite source of fuel and the exhaust is water vapor. The world is full of idiots. The governments are just going with the impossible infrastructure, the killing of jobs and the inability to travel for agenda 21 reasons. WTFU people!!!!

hydrogen is plentiful n highly combustible
The power grid will not support an all ev transportation model. The power plants can’t generate that much electricity, the grid can’t deliver it.
Batteries are not the answer. Battery technology hasn’t advanced that much and is near its limit. Production and manufacturing improvements are where the advances have come and they have reached their limit. And batteries are an eco nightmare.
capacitors are not an option, no way.
Hydrogen fuel cells are a possible route but they have been on the drawing board for 40 years. I don’t know if it’s politics or a technology issue keeping them out of cars. Maybe hydrogen cells give cars great range so people still have freedom to travel and the eco people don’t like that freedom.
Not raining on veg oil for diesels but it might be an infinite source in that as long as we have vegetables we can make oil. But could we do in sufficient enough quantities to power the all the cars and trucks? I really do not think so. How much vegetables would that take to do?
Sure it is a good deal for those who have diesels and have some sort of access to used vegetable oil. One gallon of vegetable oil of Giant Eagle's brand is today 4.44/gallon. Which even with Biden's increase is 25 percent higher than diesel.

then all is lost.
What powered Apollo 11 to the moon and back?

While there have been some impressive advances in recent years, a team of researchers have created a supercapacitor film that could replace the need for a battery altogether within the next five years.Graphene-Based Supercapacitors Could Lead To Battery-Free Electric Cars

How much fossil fuel does it take to charge your electric vehicle fantasy?
Farmers are being paid not to farm their land. Paid not to grow corn. How much fuel is not being produced at a cost? Hemp seed oil can be harvested every 4 months. Plus it grows where other crops won’t.
You know how much a remote diesel generator electric charging station requires to charge a vehicle? I bet you don’t, and don’t care because you are drinking the totalitarian kool aid. Wake the fuck up, when has a government mandate ever benefited mankind? Hitler is calling you to the train station, don’t be late.
