Ther has been featured on several movies recently about 'EAM's - Emergency Action Messages/ These are instructions sent to bombers and submarines in the event of nuclear strikes. These are heavily encrypted, usually with separate digital signatures, verified on board ship or plane with dual Authentication Cards kept in separate safes, and transmitted on specific frequencies.
Theres also a level above that, SkyKing messages. These are shorter, broadcast on open frequencies using single sideband, and interestingly there's a website keeps a record of them:
