I hope she takes every penny he's got. Every last cent.

No, that was Bill Clinton although she is probably far too old for him. (56)

Ugh. Divorce. I was a widow at 38, and I've heard divorce is just as painful.

Wishing the best for both of them and the kids.
Don't make old people mad. The older we get, the less "life in prison" is a deterrent.

He almost never made it. He founded Microsoft to create computer games - Little Billy's passion well into his twenties. I read a long story of how it was that Gates got pulled into writing an operating system - I can't remember the book's title now, and others claim it's not true; so...I don't know. But it wasn't his passion - but as Microsoft came to be, as a business, Billy somehow came to realize he'd have to do something to pay the bills.

Not really that much. Stock-speculating banksters own the rest - proprietary bank stock accounts. And of course, M-funds.

But she's not going to have any serious impact with her voting rights. She may have a persuasive power - although I don't know how or why, she's never worked in the business - but she can't just vote away what Billy wants.

For that matter, Billy can't vote what he wants, even now. Going public, usually means eventual loss of control.

It says at one point they moved $20 billion worth of Microsoft stock to their Foundation and today it has more than $51 billion in assets making it one of the world's wealthiest foundations!
