What you got to spice up grilled burgers?

Any special recipies? Tried to mix A-1 and BBQ sause into siome burger the other night with mixed success. The BBQ sauce burgers were a bitch to get to hold together. I can do pizza burgers, blue cheese burgers but I wondered what else might be out there.

It's difficult on a fire grill, but if you are using a griddle or pan frying, try onions and grape jelly. Just google it.

If it's on a grill, I use butter basting. Save all the condiments for later. You can use any marinade that you use for steak. I prefer the marinades with low salt or no salt.

Swiss cheese and mushrooms sauteed in butter always is good.

Try using horseradish sauce instead of your usual condiments.

With pork, I use a mayo plaster with mustard powder. Might work for burgers.

So many different BBQ sauces ... pick your favorite.

A fried egg is always good, but limit your condiments to cheese/bacon/tomato/tomato based sauce/hot sauce.

One thing I have learned ... depending on how you dress it up on the grill limits how you dress it up afterward. Some things just don't mix well.

You can also try a mexi burger with pico de gallo and a mexican cheese slice. Add hot peppers to your taste.

Dry spices seem to work better. Bob’s Big Boy seasoning was my old goto. Then Lawreys had to fill in but use less because it is saltier. Rib dry rub is good.

Bacon bits, chopped onion and shredded cheddar. Then BBQ after cooking.

DARK SESAME OIL! A little goes a long way so no more than a teaspoon per patty. Better tasting burgers have a high fat content...lean is dry. This will work wonders on the 5% fat content burgers.....

Thanks. You also gave me an idea to mix in my wife's fantastic grilled chix family sause.
