Indiana AG Begins Investigation Of Big Tech

This was one of his campaign promises.

Indiana AG Launches Investigation Into 5 Big Tech Companies For ‘Censoring Conservative Content’ | The Daily Wire

    quoth the link:
In particular, Attorney General Rokita is probing methods by which the companies have limited consumers’ access to certain content —often deleting or obscuring posted material reflecting a politically conservative point of view,” the statement said. “Such manipulation prevents consumers from making informed choices.”

    Taxcuttersays:
    Go get 'em, Todd.

BTW Todd Rokita (Secretary of State at the time) was the daddy of Indiana's exemplary redistricting plan of 2010.

A bit off topic, but you brought it up in the OP ... tell us what was "exemplary" about his redistricting? Anything that has lessons learned and can be replicated elsewhere?

And back on topic. Is there an end game plan on what happens if social media censorship censorship is proven to be biased? We all know it is biased.

If I were in charge, I'd shut them all down until they could prove they will no longer censor content, will not interfere in any future elections, and not until they EACH paid a many multi-billion dollar fine.

All these AG's and Senators tell us they have a sneaking suspicion something is amiss with these companies. A little slow on the uptake are we?

I'm offering some information below, absolutely free, which will help them avoid wasting tax dollars on future investigations:

    [2] We won WWII

As a Hoosier, I can answer this. His redistricting plan has been nationally recognized as the fairest and most non-gerrymandered plan. If you look up the 2010 redistricting map of IN, you effectively see districts that are fairly even with respect to geographic area covered and little to nothing that looks like Gerrymandering. This is especially true when compared to the 2000 redistrict plan.

Islam is a religion of violence and terror as practiced by the Islamofascists. The Muslims that do speak out against terror are then terrorized by the Islamofascists and are ignored by the Lap Dog Media.

    @Taxcutter

    I definitely concur.

The last time that the commies had control of the redistrict plan, we were losing a Congressional seat. They created a very Gerrymandered District #4. I was in the southern most part of that district that was about 80 miles southwest of INDY. Its northern end was about 40 miles northwest of INDY. The commies put two incumbent Republican reps against each other. It was not only an obvious politically driven Gerrymander, it was designed to make it difficult for the one remaining Republican rep to cover his district effectively.

Like I said, all that one has to do is look at the 2000 redistrict plan (created by democommies) and compare it to the 2010 plan. I will add that the 2010 plan made no effort to group populations by party tendencies. It was strictly geographic populations along already recognized boundaries. As a result, only the most solidly urban shit holes remained having communist reps.

Hoosiers do indeed have major crowing rights for their 2010 redistricting. Let's hope this one turns out as well.

The Rokita redistricting eliminated a stealth gerrymander that Frankie O'Bannon had put in earlier. The city of Kokomo was split off from the rest of Howard County and put into the old Second District but the rest of Howard County was put in the Fourth District. Kokomo used to be highly unionized and this was enough to offset the GOP strength in the northern part of the district. That resulted in some very awful characters going to Congress from the Second and left a gerrymander looking like an appendix on the Second.

The Rokita redistricting eliminated that gerrymander. The numerical balance between the First and Second was equalized. Needless to say, the donks squalled, but to no avail. People in Howard County seem to like being in the same Congressional District.

Things may get interesting. Migration of Chicagoans (generally middle class) to southern Lake County may affect numerical balance. Lake County is almost two counties. Northern (north of US 30) Lake county is "Da Region". Solidly blue, it includes towns like Gary and East Chicago. Southern (south of US 30) Lake County used to be very rural and thinly populated. Chicago suburbanites moving into southern Lake county will not affect the blueness of the First District, but may move the boundary lines.
