    Sport Of Choice?

    Very scientific. Great research.

Oh so clever but oh so right.

    INTERESTING OBSERVATION

    1. The sport of choice for the urban poor is BASKETBALL.

    2. The sport of choice for maintenance level employees is BOWLING.

    3. The sport of choice for front-line workers is FOOTBALL.

    4. The sport of choice for supervisors is BASEBALL.

    5. The sport of choice for middle management is TENNIS.

    And...

    6. The sport of choice for corporate executives and officers is GOLF.

THE amazing fact is, the higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become.

There must be a load of feckless politicians in Washington D C playing marbles.

In the South, and other areas I presume (particularly in the Construction Industry), HUNTING is a major sport/pastime across ALL levels......

    USPA/D in 1975.....

Retired from the sport once my knees forced me to quit.

    NO sport has more balls......
It's not how you find the notes...it's how your fingers leave them. That's who you are.

I would guess it is in most rural areas. The places that know how to handle guns.

I got my D rating...Expert Skydiver. Also, two, 12 hour freefall badges.

Ruined my knees...now, my hip I think...and needed a left stapedectomy in my ear. That was in Lakehurst, NJ...long ago.

I don't think many Americans realize just how big hunting is.

And, like I said...it's not just a "rural" pastime in my neck of the woods.

(The great irony, is that in Tennessee, with all the hunters we have....White Tail Deer are actually increasing in numbers. Along with Coyotes, Racoons, and, as always, our urban "domestic pests," Rats......)

People forget that many species have adapted wonderfully beside humankind......
