    Local Country Store

On the way back from the VA yesterday we stopped at our local Mennonite Country Grocery Store. They had their monthly bulk meat sale on and since I was out of the trout I caught over the summer and fall, I decided to stop and order some, 10 lbs. for 30 dollars. I know that it sounds like a lot but it is smoked and fileted and besides did I mention I am out and Trout season is a month away. We also bought 10 lbs. of ground beef 85% lean for 15 dollars.

We also got some ideas for the granddaughters birthdays. We try to get them unique presents that cause them to think and follow directions. They have a couple of kits, one teach how to make chocolate and the other teaches how to make chewing gum. We also picked up a half gallon of ice cream since we were almost out and the store carries our brand, the brand we like the most, not that we own it.
Humble yourself, for there is an enormous change coming.

It sounds like you had a wonderful day.
The difference between resistance and sedition, between protests and insurrections, is who’s in charge. Democrats resist Republican elected officials. Republicans however commit sedition against Democrat elected officials. Democrats protest, Republicans riot.

Oh, I love Mennonite stores! Friendly, go out of their way to serve, and quality. And no, $30 for 10lbs. of trout didn't sound like a lot to me, at all.

And I very much admire you finding unique gifts for your grandchildren. I can't wait 'til mine get home, when I can follow your example. What swell ideas!

There's a Mennonite bakery/sandwich shop in town, and their sandwiches are heaven on earth. Yummers!

I just bought 5 lbs of Sashimi Grade Salmon for 61 bucks, or about 12 bucks a pound. Went to find some Halibut and Eel, and was shocked at the prices. 23-46 bucks a pound.
I get Sashimi Tuna for 9 bucks a pound and I'll just have to make do with that and the Salmon.
