All I can say is that they better not cut the pay of any black players because that would be RACIST!!!!!!!!!

I never could figure out what makes a professional athlete a "hero" but a lot of people consider them "heroes" and worship every word they say do whatever the athlete says to do. Not me.

At one time Nike Air Jordans were very comfortable shoes. Like everything else, they went downhill.

The NFL is delaying announcement of the salary caps, because they trying desperately to renegotiate the deals with the TV networks. Those deals are due to expire in 2023, but if the NFL has two more years of plummetting ratings the TV people won't cough up as much money as they do today.

Estimates are that the total amount of money under the cap may drop by 20% of more. Advertisers are very much aware of the ratings and they are driving hard bargains with the TV people.

After Super Bowl I, Bart Starr worked that winter selling cars. We might be going back to that.

The NFL is not as bad off as the NBA, NASCAR, or MLB...yet. But their unified revenue sharing arrangement that keeps the balance of quality (the long-term strength of the NFL) makes them very vulnerable to falling TV ratings. One falls, they all get less money.

The NFL hot stove league cannot start in earnest until everyone knows where they stand on the "salary cap." The NFL determines salary cap as a percentage of revenue. A percentage of "way down" is gonna be way down itself. In essence player salaries are being cut - very unevenly.

Some free agents are gonna be really disappointed.

I believe thay have said that it will be no lower than 175 million maybe 185. KC SB trips may be over for a while as their QB will now get about 25% of the entire team salary

the left has misused the term hero for so long, like racist, it no longer has any valid meaning...

to them , its heroic to dye your hair green and racist if you dont like green hair...

they are nuts, of course, but it is what it is...
