My ex wife’s family have French ancestry as do I, her maternal family are all big with very blond hair.
Just like my own French ancestry hers came to the U.K. persecuted by the catholics, they like mine were Protestant Huegenots.

I always ask myself what makes us have such or such color of hair or eyes? It's complicated and it has nothing to do with my presentation, but well, LOL

Non of my ancestors that I know of are from France, but the second language in my childhood home was French. I have no idea why, and recall little from lack of use. I was born with white hair, common in our family. Now that I'm older some of it has turned grey. I've noticed the grey hairs are friendly, they stick around.
    Getting older and uglier everyday

My maternal family all have green eyes as do I, we also have very pale skin, my maternal male cousins have male pattern baldness, to which I have been spared, my hair is brown and thick.
    My female Haplogroup is T1
All females in my grandmothers maternal ancestry would have the same.
My male haplogroup to which my fathers, fathers, fathers, father, etc etc would all be H1
The reason people have different haplogroups is because the male sperm, sometimes it mutates, H, H1,H2, Hp96 etc etc and into different sub groups.
My own ancestry I’ve taken on my fathers, I am a complete replica of him, I see my future just like my fathers played out.
Both my sons have 47% of my DNA, they have 53% of their mothers DNA it shows in features, hair colour, skin colour( very pale)
My eldest son has my blood type A+ whilst my youngest son has O+ Their mother had O- my youngest son inherited my + positive and his mothers O type, perfectly normal.

The Yellow Vest are pretty calm for now but in September Macaroni will likely make them return in the street to protest again .
